False Hellebore Wildflower 6952
This year was a bumper year for wildflowers in Colorado due to the amount of snow that was received over the winter. I had never timed it right to catch the False Hellebore in bloom before but this trip up high they were still blooming. The were so tall and thick it was like walking through a thick jungle. This was taken along the Snodgrass Trail of of Gothic Road north of Crested Butte near the Kebler Pass.
