Nestled Trout Lily in Leaf
One of the first early blooming spring wildflowers is the trout lily. This was nestled in a leaf. I located this gem while hiking at Wildcat Glades in Missouri. There were several of these interesting trout lilies coming up but this one was nicely framed and made a special capture.
