Description
This square image of the sensitive briar would really be shown off a either glossy metal or printed on brushed di-bond metal. For a softer look canvas and matte paper would be great.
Sensitive Briar – Mimosa quadrivalvis
The Sensitive Briar wildflower is a very unique flower and plant and I am always excited when if find it. The bright pink round clusters are individual stalks and have a bright yellow tip. The leaflets have sensitive hairs that trigger the leaflets to close when touched – how fascinating! Bobwhite quail are know to eat the sees, and wild turkey fee on the leaves. This plant is also named &devil' s shoestrings by rural children running barefoot though its prickly stems.
